The AeroPress Go is perfect for coffee lovers who enjoy coffee wherever they are. It’s designed with portability in mind, which makes it a lightweight and compact brewing method that you can use on the go.
The AeroPress Go creates just as nice coffee as the original AeroPress; however, the difference is that the AeroPress Go is more compact and easier to use while on the move.
As briefly discussed before, the difference between the AeroPress and the AeroPress Go is down to portability. Here are some of the other key differences between the two:
AeroPress | AeroPress Go | |
---|---|---|
Size and design | Larger | Smaller and more compact |
Travel kit | Doesn’t come with a mug or travel case | Comes with a travel mug that doubles as a case |
Price | Slightly less expensive | More expensive |
Accessories | Includes regular-sized accessories | Includes smaller, foldable accessories |
Using the AeroPress Go should be quick and easy, and shouldn’t take longer than 2–3 minutes. Keep reading for our step-by-step guide on how to brew high-quality coffee with the AeroPress Go.
Equipment Needed
Boil the kettle: Start by filling your kettle and boiling the water. We recommend a temperature of 93–96 degrees. However, if you have a regular kettle, make sure you leave the water to sit for a few minutes.
Place the filter into the AeroPress Go: Make sure to rinse the filter with hot water to remove the paper taste.
Add the coffee: Place the AeroPress onto your mug and add 1–2 scoops of ground coffee into the chamber using the scoop provided in the kit.
Add hot water: Pour the water into the AeroPress. The numbers on the AeroPress Go correlate with the strength of your coffee. For example, the lower the number you fill in, the stronger the coffee will be.
Stir the coffee: You can do this by using a spoon or the stirrer that comes with the kit.
Insert the plunger and press down slowly: Do this until you hear a hissing sound. This process usually takes around 20–30 seconds.
Enjoy your coffee: Remove the AeroPress Go from your cup and push the plunger. Doing this releases the used coffee grounds and filter. All that’s left to do now is enjoy!
Every brewing method is different, which means that the taste, strength and aroma can vary depending on the type of method you choose. The AeroPress brews high-quality, smooth coffee, which is full of flavour.
