La Colina Coffee
La Colina, meaning “The Hill”, is more than just a coffee farm, it’s the life’s work of Antonio “Tony” Medina. Inheriting a small plot of land from his father, Tony began with simple crops like corn and beans. But deep down, he always carried a bigger dream: to grow exceptional coffee.
In his youth, without resources but full of determination, Tony worked on neighbouring coffee farms, learning the craft from the ground up. In 1991, he planted his very first coffee tree on La Colina. Over the next 25 years, through patience, dedication, and a love for the land, Tony transformed his modest plot into a thriving coffee farm.
Nestled on elevated hillsides, La Colina’s unique terrain gives its coffee a distinct character, rich in flavour, rooted in tradition, and infused with the story of a man whose perseverance turned a dream into reality.
