Grown high in the lush landscapes of Santa Barbara Mountain, this coffee comes from a truly unique corner of Honduras, just above the serene waters of Lake Yojoa, the country’s only natural lake.
Formed by ancient volcanic activity, Lake Yojoa is more than a beautiful backdrop. It’s a thriving ecosystem, home to diverse aquatic life and nearly half of all bird species in Honduras. The surrounding region also holds rich cultural significance, with prehispanic archaeological sites scattered along its shores.
These high-altitude growing conditions, combined with volcanic soil and a pristine natural environment, produce a coffee that’s as vibrant and complex as the landscape it comes from.
Expect a cup that reflects the richness of its origin, bright, balanced, and full of character.
