Uganda, Rwenzori, Agri Evolve

Around 300 to 500 smallholders contribute to each lot of Agri Evolve's coffee, with average farm sizes ranging from 1.5 to 2.2 acres. These farms are characterized by Haplic Phaeozem soils, which support the coffee's growth. The drying process typically takes about one week and involves a combination of partial sun drying and mechanical drying. While Agri Evolve usually relies entirely on sun drying, recent heavy rains have necessitated the use of mechanical drying methods to ensure consistent results despite the challenging weather conditions.
